Have you ever wonder what it really feels like just to be you?

Have you ever felt so alone in a crowd?
Or noticed that everyone seems to be talking....
but no one's listening?
Have you ever wonder what it really feels like just to be you?

I did. And here's whatI told myself on that fateful day...

I'm home.

From an angel to another...

"If you have been searching outside of you for something, just look inside you... for it is already there..."
Thanks Mei!

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There’s always one reason
To feel not good enough

And it’s hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I’ll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there

So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There’s vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It don’t make no difference
Escaping one last time
It’s easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

Some things don't really break down

I just realize something.

An escalator can never really break down. At worse, it only becomes stairs. You would never see an escalator with the "Temporarily Out of Order" sign, just "Temporarily Stairs... Sorry for the Inconvenience"

Interesting.

Savor the Journey!

I will never forget my POS. 2 wks after TCC. Extremely confrontational yet truly awakening. I only started living then. Sometimes I slip back into breathing mode and just sleep my way through life. And then I wake up. And started living again. It gets tiring at times but definitely better than staying in slumber for your entire life.

Today when I woke up and saw the bright sun outside the window, I smiled.

Who needs to see the world when its beauty is within the reach of any person who has the eyes to see, the ears to hear and the heart to feel...

I felt so loved.

Leave you guys with this poem by Gwendolyn Brooks

Exhaust the little moment
Soon it dies

And be it gash or gold
It will not come

Again in this identical disguise

Life is too short to sleep through it. Savor the journey!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight,
Walking in a winter wonderland!

Winter is finally here, marked by a thin layer of snow right outside my apt. Here's some pics we took on a cold windy Sunday.
From now till 20th, it is gonna be really hectic. But well, what's new?

Isn't life sucky?

Have you ever experience a day where you started with "It is gonna be a great day!" and your day turned out to be a sucky one as the hour goes. Esp. so on Friday the 13th. I kinda experience a mild version of it tonight even though it is just the 2 Dec (despite being Friday)

Raj was bitching about how life sucks and I replied him with a "Depends on how you look at it."

Yeah right.

Checked my bank account balance and found myself cheated of $20 from yesterday's dinner. Apparently the waitress added a $20 tip without my permission and I have no proof.

Left the room to dry my clothes and the dryer ate up $2 worth of quarters.

Came up to get more $$ and found a long letter by Park Towne Mgt which in essence was a "We are gonna charge you heat and hot water from Jan 1st." Nice. Just when we are having winter. No sweat. I shall saunter around the house with my winter jacket.

Went down to top up my washing card and found another letter in the mail. This time it is my phone bill - $83.20. Almost a 25% hike from my usual bills. Thanks to all the overseas call I made.

Decided to save one quarter by using the dryer card. Throw in the clothes and realize that there is no linen filter (an essential for a dryer). Wasted another $1.75.

After an hour or so, I find myself losing over $120 and my clothes are still wet. And I am too tired to feel the impact of all this. I shall let it sink in tomorrow. Isn't life sucky? It really depends on how you look at it.

Right.
